| Leaving today...no more entries...I love you all, and know that you are in my prayers! | | |
| Well, I had a fun evening: ~ My family and I went to the first football game of the season for Newark Catholic (my Alma Mater). ~ We faced our rivals, Amanda Clear Creek ~ We scored the first touchdown, but soon the game was tied. ~ Then we were down by one touchdown, but in the very last minute of the fourth quarter, we tied up the game. ~ We went into overtime, and IT STARTED POURING!!! It was so much fun, it reminded me of when I was in high school, and I was a cheerleader, we would have to cheer in any weather that the boys played in. ~ Anyways, we lost in Overtime, but it was very close.
And for once, I had something to do, and wasn't bored :) | | |
| Good News: Sr. Angela called today, which means that I am "officially" ready to enter as a postulant! For those of you who know nothing about this, the order I am entering is called the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration, and they are located in Mishawaka Indiana. If you visit the website there is a place where you can submit prayer intentions, and the sisters will prayer for your intentions in the Eucharistic Adoration chapel. The website is www.ssfpa.org. My entrance will be on September 17th, 2006, at 2:00pm. The ceremony is open to the public, so anyone who wants to make the drive is allowed to come. Also, I am having a going away/early birthday party on Friday September 15th, 2006. I don't know what time yet, but hopefully you all can make it, because I'd love to see everyone again before I enter. Wow, I have less than a month...time is going so quickly! Peace and Love, Candice | | |
| Well, the sisters came to visit my family today. Everything went pretty good. Everything is in order for my entrance in the fall, and now I am only waiting for a call from the superior to "officially" give me the entrance date. My family gets to come up with me the night before, and anyone else who want to come can come up the day of for the ceremony. | | |
